HDD Broker Employees Need a Little Help after Ian

Hello, my name is Renee Martin and I'm the GM at HDD Broker; we sell used equipment that installs fiber and utilities underground. We have a cute little location in Bonita Springs, FL and the 5 hard-working folks living there have been completely devasted by Hurricane Ian.

Our sales manager, Bill Fluharty, was hit hardest in Cape Coral, FL where the storm surge flooded up to his attic. My heart breaks when I see pictures of his ruined home, but Bill is handling the situation with his typical poise and humor. He even joked that he hoped some big fat groupers swam into his house!

Everyone on the Florida team has been impacted financially in some way - Bill lost all his possessions and will need everything from furniture to dishes, but all 5 people could use a little help buying basic supplies, replenishing their groceries and covering short-term repair costs and bills while they wait for insurance and FEMA. All funds raised will go directly to our 5 employees to cover those costs.

Many people in our industry have reached out to us, and we are very grateful. Your thoughts and prayers and offers to help are truly appreciated. The HDD industry is a very resilient one, and our folks in Florida are no different. With the funds raised here we'll be able to make sure their recovery journey is a little easier.
